Here Comes the Drone

Here Comes the Drone

Daniel Avery recorded his debut album is 'Drone Logic' in an industrial site overlooking London's harbour. He doesn't consider himsef anything else than a DJ, but his first album already seats him squarely next to Underworld, Aphex Twin, Silent Servant and Gesaffelstein. This is music for night rides through the city, disappearing into a hole in the dancefloor or soundtracking neon-drenched acts of lust and violence. You might have heard one of his tracks tearing up Grand Theft Auto to Soulwax FM. It's time you listened to all of it.
