A CUT ABOVE FLAGSHIP STORE : THE HARD OPENING (AND ABOUT FOUNDER FLO’S MODELING GIGS FOR RAF SIMONS)
For those who think little old Belgium isn’t a decent-level streetwear player : you’re wrong.
We’ve already told you about Givenchy designer Tony Spackman working closely with the boys at LOCKWOOD on their brand and now Creative Director An-Josefien Falelavaki (lovingly known as AJ OMO) + her boyfriend of four years and ACA founder Robin De Flô have opened the first flagship store for their freshly turned sophomore brand A CUT ABOVE.

To celebrate this event ACA is throwing a party AND YOU SHOULD COME.
As the first one to put the brand and one of its owners in a national magazine a year ago, KNOTORYUS is very happy to see A Cut Above grow and we remain proud supporters and absolutely adore the S/S 2014 pieces.
We asked AJ about the inspiration behind the “White Palms” collection.

AJ : “As you know, we have always been inspired by the great Belgian designers in general, but since Robin walked several runway shows for Raf Simons and his personal highlights remain Raf’s S/S 98 “Black Palms” and S/S 99 “Kinetic Youth” collections for which Raf took inspiration from the Antwerp youth, a small part of our S/S 14 is an ode to Mr. Simons’ brilliant work, the larger part is a celebration of our own youth.”

Please. I had to post this above and recent instagram shot of Robin. This is such a good look for blonde boys.
