THINGS TO BE HERE FOR THIS WEEK

You could be here for the fact that it’s Saint Patrick’s Day again and you were finally able to pull out that green thing from the ’not so cute in regular lighting, huh?’ pile. Or you could be here for the following:

This Saint Laurent “Please Don’t Leave Me” cap

It says ‘I’m needy!’ but at the same time ‘What’s €215 for a trucker hat’? My two favourite statements.

Supreme x Stone Island

If mood rings were your sister’s thing when she was a Wiccan for a hot 90 minutes in 5th grade, the Supreme x Stone Island heat-reactive trenches and accessories can be yours right now. You might still be able to snag one of the duffle bags.

Still With The Smithseses

Though Willow was featured only last week, I can’t but shout out Jaden this time for all the #facefaceface he’s giving on his latest GQ cover. The Dior Homme floral suit jacket is described by Kris Van Assche as a “wool-cotton jacquard suit based on an archive of a flower graphic from M. Dior”. Which reads to my fanboy brain as: “Go ruffle through the archives and track down this exact print, Immi!”. Did I find it? No. Do I realise now how similar-looking vintage rose prints can be? Yes!

New Tweet
Tweet_Charlene

Anyone with a cochlea knows that Tweet and Missy’s “Oops (Oh My)” was the bop and has been for 14 years. Now Charlene ‘Tweet’ Keys has emerged from her ice-made dwellings after 10 years with a new eponymous soul album. The songs make me light in the head (which may or may not also be linked to this cold I’m going through) and I kind of urgently need someone to soundbite Missy screaming “New Tweet!” and link it to my phone’s notifications panel.

Game Changers

This preview of the ineffably beautiful McQueen AW09 “Horn of Plenty” gown has got me all in my feelings and extra pumped for the new MoMu ‘Game Changers’ exhibit opening tomorrow. Gird your loins and read up on the expo here.
