Eyecandy Smorgasbörd feat. Masahisa Fukase, Aphex Twin, Iris van Herpen, Sevdaliza, Nicolas Karakatsanis, Sigur Ros, Sang Blue, Preoccupations, Vetements, Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared
Themes of death, love, happiness and a pretty cool T-shirt
Aphex Twin – CIRKLON3
The world is what it is, but Richard D. James is also releasing a new EP called ‘Cheetah’ and he’s asked a 12-year old to make the first Aphex Twin video in 17 years. 3:08 is my favourite moment.
Iris van Herpen translucent 3d-printed Hybrid Holism dress.
I only recently saw Iris’ work in real life at the Antwerp Fashion Museum and it’s always a good feeling to tap into a richer vein of life and beauty, just by taking the time to stare at something someone else happened to make one day.

Sevdaliza – The Formula
NSFW, this one.
Sevdaliza was born in Iran, but her family moved to Holland when she was a little girl, looking for a better future. She’s building things from the ground up, with influences from Björk, Radiohead, FKA Twigs … In this short film about ‘death, love and happiness’, you’ll see her playing the lead, which is obviously the position she was born to be in. Sevdaliza is playing at several festivals this summer, so check her out if you can.

Sigur Rós: Óveður
A pretty girl getting very sadly drunk with her pet wolf in the middle of nowhere, ending up in an eerie pub for some ecstatic violence and nudity. Very NSFW after about 4 minutes.
PreOccupations – Anxiety
New work from the dusk-tinted post-punk band formerly known as Viet Cong.
Sang Blue “Physical” T-Shirt
… and as usual: a funny one to end. Well, it’s darkly funny. Weirdly funny. OK, it’s just plain weird.
Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared Episode 6
This series has been building up a substantial cult following and it deserves your attention. The DHMIS episodes are released upon an unsuspecting world at the geological pace of about one per year, so the advent of episode 6 is cause for celebration in this here household. I hope the same applies to wherever you’re at today.
