Lo! It’s day 4 AFWT (After Formation World Tour) and I remain shook like the people of Pompeii on that ashy day in August. If you however have not been visited by the literal archangel of music this week, you can trust in us to gather you some other happenings to be in attendance for this week.

Art Comes First x Fred Perry

The great Sam and Shaka of Art Comes First (you can read our LFW talk here) have paired up with Fred Perry and it’s a fit and a half. Their signature attention for craftsmanship shimmers through in the woven polo shirt collar details, the black ACF label stitched underneath the classic wreath and the way they mixed three different Fred Perry jackets together creating a new one. Yes! The new collab drops in stores August 6th but it’s also available online. You can sign up for the full service ACF e-commerce site before its imminent launch here.

Black Twitter

There’s no emotion you can’t express with a Miss New York GIF or Arthur meme, and Black Twitter is the living proof each and every day. Frank Ocean live-streaming the actual wood-chopping void this week got BT riled up to the point where I had to drop the Olympic Committee a DM to check if I could last-minute nominate a new spectator sport for Rio 2016. If the album doesn’t drop tomorrow as announced, I’ll be the Michael Jackson popcorn GIF personified.

#DVGETSFIT

I’ve been working out for all of 3 weeks now and I’ve yet to succumb to the usual motivational quote fare (you know: semi-transparent runner in starting blocks, bald eagle silhouette, chicken breast quinoa whey protein shake quivering on a Stairmaster, “only God can count my reps” in a ‘gritty’ font). But you see, knowing that Donatella is on the road to fitness with me is all the motivation I really need. Plaster this in gyms worldwide!
