We've been spending the last days of 09 and the first days of 2010 eating pomegranates with salt, downing gallons of hummus and shouting: "Mazzeltov!" and "L'chaim!".
Tel Aviv was a blast. Seeing one of your dear friends getting married is one thing, partying with 60 Europeans and 150 Israelis is something else.
Before we took off though, I was invited to the opening of a restaurant in Paris. Go visit Bistrot Les Miroirs, the food is Italian, excellent and not expensive.
First course: meat. Second course : meat.
I'm trying to cut down, but quitting smoking was a lot easier. A whole lot.

She inherited the Louis Vuitton trunk from her grand père.
(The Speculoos jar was a KNOTORYUS present. The P got one too. So good.)
She is currently building a house (she's an architect) in the Bahamas. When all the hotels are booked she crashes at the Filippa K vacation pad. LGF is mad jealous.
Next day she had a Versailles-themed party she had to go to. Secret password and all. The rest of us contented ourselves by living vicariously through her and her energetic self, so we took the Thalys/Eurostar home and went to sleep...
