EYECANDY SMÖRGASBORD feat. S.C.U.M., King Fantastic, The Ettes, Frances Bean Cobain by Hedi Slimane, Amy & Jack & Jay, Flaming Lips, etc.

You’ll just have to look inside if you want to find out.

S.C.U.M. has been the insider’s choice for London’s underground for about two years now. Next month, their debut album ‘Again into Eyes’ is finally being released and the new single is called simply ‘Whitechapel’. Think ‘The Horrors’ and Jesus and Mary Chain. In case you missed it, the video for the first single ‘Amber Hands’, directed by Matthew Stone, is also worth checking out.

Photographs of Marilyn in Manhattan. While on vacation, I read that when they closed her coffin for the burial, her blonde curls refused to relent and kept popping out.

King Fantastic: D Boy Stance (feat. Anacron). Somehow, this simple black and white video makes a truly menacing mark on your cortex, especially once you realise these dudes are equally comfortable holding babies or A.K.’s. Also: that song is hot.

I think we might need two fun ones to end.

First up: Lightning Bolt and Flaming Lips make weirdness together.

And in closing:

The Ettes : “Excuse” with cameo by Patton Oswald. Fun song, fun video. Also: that drummer is hot. Her name is Poni.
