5 New Tracks I'm Listening to a Lot

5 New Tracks I'm Listening to a Lot

Five streams and downloads that have been inside my head a lot while I'm working on them thangs.

1. Death Grips - BIRDS

Let's hope the new album is actually coming out and this insane track is on it. Anyone who's digging Yeezus should give this a go, but be prepared for a bleaker, darker and alltogether more absurd experience.

Let's hope there's a European tour as well, becasue this is still my favourite video of the year (so far).

2. Earl Sweatshirt - HOARSE

'Doris' is a gift. Never get tired of listening to it.

Here's OFWGKTA's latest prodigy on "Overrated/Underrated".

Quotes:

'Name one Googleimage if a one-hundred-year-old whose face you would smell!'

'Game of Thrones acting is like porn acting.'

3. Lustmord - ABADDON

Featuring James Maynard Keenan from Tool on vocals. The whole 'Word as Power' album is amazing and really weird to listen to while you're on the subway.

4. King Krule - NEPTUNE ESTATE

The debut album "6 Feet beneath the Moon" just dropped and it doesn't dissapoint. A new kind of blues.. Quote: "I hope you feel used/ And cope the way that you do." Not an easy listen, even with the free and easy vibes and amazing voice. I'm guessing I'll grown into it.

5. Death Grips - GUILLOTINE (BBC CHOIR VERSION)

This is the weird one of the bunch. It starts out kind of 'okay this is pretty good' but then the child's voice comes in with 'every fragmented figure of speech' and bam! Instant internet classic. This will be on an album with choir versions of all kinds of music, including Bach and also uhm.. Glee.
