Just like every year, KNOTORYUS was excited and honoured to be invited to the end of year show of the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, also known as the school where Walter Van Beirendonck (who has also been its headmaster since 2006) + the other Antwerp Six, Martin Margiela, Kris Van Assche and many others first got to develop their craft and skills.

This year, it was decided to move SHOW2015 to Antwerp’s favourite Summer hangout ‘Park Spoor Noord’, where the three of us were blessed with front row seats having only the catwalk separating us from legends Walter Van Beirendonck, Dirk Van Saene and Dries Van Noten. A lot of trying not to stare directly into the light their eyes ensued.

We got to enjoy a fast-paced and high energy show where the 1st bachelor students had to model their own creations and the 2nd Bachelor year contained some really promising talent.Show2015_Takuya Sasaki

Can’t wait to see this one develop : Predrag Petrovic ‘ZZZ-KWEFFQPQÖOJJJJ’

Having to type that title just scored you some side-eye, Predrag.Show2015_RushemyBotter

Speaking of which : I am so sorry for this little IG joke, dear Rushemy Botter, but your boy came out too funny in this pic.

In any case, congratulations on the collection. We all loved it.11406285_834307326647793_5384732280860275551_o

I would spend money on that jumper.

The above picture shows Immi’s and my favourite collection from this years graduating Masters :

Stefaan outed himself as a big fan of Laure Severac’s “The Dear Elso Letter”, which was also the rest of KNOTORYUS’ first runner-up.

And now we’ll leave you with that other KNOTORYUS tradition : a playlist featuring all the songs we heard during the show.

Beats may have ruled the runway, but that Death Grips made the night extra special.

See y’all next year!
