What? The newest branch of the Todd Schliemann-designed Standard hotels, now open(ish) in the Meat packing District of New York.
Why? Because of the insane view. Because the hotel is not really officially open yet, so the rates are pretty low at the moment.
Drive slow, homey: As I said: it's open(ish), so there are bound to be a few glitches when you book now. But honestly: as long as the curtains aren't jammed shut, we'll be happy.
