Like King Krule (Archy Marshall, Edgar the Beatmaker), the elusive London artist Jadasea sounds like someone who's numb from the pain who still remembers beauty. "Half-Life" is an apt title, since it floats somewhere in between waking life and lucid dreaming: an underwater purgatory where beats are slurred and lyrics fight for clarity.
