This is a new version of ‘Holy Elixir’, slightly different from the original - which we transcribed earlier. Apart from the beat getting meaner and darker with added synths, Kate’s performance is more gritty, teeth clenched, fingernails digging into palms. Also, the hopeful ending is lopped off. What remains is a repeated stating of the “do or die” situation we find ourselves in every time we return from our thoughts.
