There’s been no shortage of adjectives in the press arsenal to pin down black midi: experimental, avant-, alt-, etc. So far, the band has successfully fluttered their way out of all pigeon-holes and if ‘John L’ is anything to go by, their sophomore album ‘Cavalcade’ will see them skirting and flipping (off) boundaries like never before. The video depicts cult worship in spandex onesies and frenzied dancing to crashing piano clusters. Fun!
