I saw Cable Ties opening for OFF! not long ago, winning over the most wisened of punk crowds. And then just a few weeks later Henry Rollins himself tipped Cable Ties on his radio show. So with their punk credentials firmly nailed to the door of 2023, this trio is all set to crash through it with their debut album “All Her Plans” on Merge Records. The video & single “Crashing Through” is a cute little theatre piece about a moth man / metaphor for your fears crashing through your brain, but if you just let it flutter about long enough you’ll see those fears exit through your earhole and hopefully leave enough space behind to realise you’re just fine where you are.
