The 2024 collaborative ‘Lucre’ project of Elias Rønnenfelt, Dean Blunt and Vegyn is forever on high rotation in these parts, as are basically all of the Iceage albums with Elias on lead vocals. 2025 welcomes the release of the second Elias Rønnenfelt solo album: a rattling, impeccably swaggering affair with standout track “Mona Lisa”, now highly watchable as a Kenneth-Anger-esque video featuring Jenna Ortega in a lip-smacking limo-cameo.
