More info on the exhibition & a word from this talented, talented man after the jump.
“There are those who believe each new generation has its own set of beliefs, habits, media, ideologies or wars. For others it’s just History endlessly repeating itself. The first end up living peacefully within the limits of their ‘time’, playing the game by the rules, never voicing their opinion.
The others do what they want to do, eat what they like and aren’t afraid to listen to their feelings. Those are the ones who whistle when taking a piss in the snow, who’ve seen the black virgin in the warm cloud of urea preaching the divine word, but didn’t understand. Those who knew, knew from that point on that they were born to raise hell.
Those who go to the mountain in the summer and to the beach in the winter, avoiding the crowds to avoid having to see or be seen by anyone. Those who are indexed, followed and endlessly tracked down to be executed in a public place. Those who, since Gutenberg, bluntly illustrate the covers of national periodicals and are proud of it… just as a pigeon would, when its shit comes crashing down between a neck and its pristine-white shirt collar.
I’m a bastard, but I believe I’m a good guy… so when I took a piss in the snow, and saw a crow come out of the smoke, croaking out loud a divine word that I didn’t understand, I knew from that very moment that I’d have to set out for the beach in December and find a house to rob.”
