As you know, Gareth Pugh doesn't do traditional catwalks anymore. He screens fashion films instead. His stunning S/S18 collection was visually re-interpreted with the help of Nick Knight, philosopher Olivier de Sagazan and Art Director Younji Ku for SHOWStudio. There's lots of clay, paint, bodies writhing, dancing, stretching, tugging, animal jaws snapping and Tessa Kuragi gets a cameo, encased in gold foil.
Warning: parts of this film are definitely NSFW.
'This is not a show.' Nick Knight and Gareth Pugh offer an exclusive visual insight into Pugh's S/S 18 collection presented here as fashion film. In collaboration with philosophical artist Olivier de Sagazan, Pugh explores the extremities offered by the elements and the raw physicality of humanity. showstudio.com/project/gareth_pugh_s_s_18
