If you describe Turnstile's 2018 release "Time & Space", it tends to make people's faces scrunch up: American hardcore with jazz intermissions, produced by Diplo, sometimes edging past Jane's Addiction or 90's "nu-metal", even putting in a wink to The Gap Band. Whaaa? But somehow, it all makes sense once you listen to it. The video for "Bomb" has an equally perplexing description: it's a violent revenge video about flowers. But it works.
