What's Happening at the Paris IKEA x Virgil Abloh Pop-up

If there’s a Virgil-sized hole in your interior decoration scheme, despair no more. The IKEA x Virgil Abloh collection is inching closer, with a small first drop coming to Paris at the “STILL LOADING” pop-up store. On Saturday September 29 only, be one of the very firsts to snag a limited edition rug ahead of the highly anticipated collab’s full release.

At the “STILL LOADING” pop-up, you’ll be able to catch an exhibition of four rugs (“STILL LOADING”, “BLUE”, the newly unveiled “GREY” and “KEEP OFF”) and immediately shop the four pieces - which won’t be a part of the full collection. The rugs can go up on the wall like neo-medieval tapestries or you can place them on the floor (if visitors instantly dispose of their footwear, of course).

If you’re nowhere near Paris, three more cities around the world will be up next but details are yet to be released. Going off of Virgil’s Instagram, it seems like prices will range from €79 to €229. Only a limited number of rugs will be for sale, if you listen closely you can already hear the fan-filled queues filling the Parisian sidewalks. Make haste!
