I also think it's pretty generous (and smart) to use your most successful and iconic work as an inspiration for a collaborative effort such as this one.
So we get to see JPG's lacing and corsetry as well as some of his favourite classic clothing items such as the bomber and the denim jacket being reinterpreted as and used in a bag. All bags feature Gaultier's signature overstitched Bretton stripe on the back.

The Eastpak x Jean Paul Gaultier collection includes 7 backpacks in all, three of which will be released as numbered, limited editions.
The Limited Edition Collection (corset & black leather) will go on sale via selected stockists on February 1st, 2015.
The Main Collection (bomber & denim) is scheduled for release on April 1st, 2015.
Part of proceeds from all sales will go to DAA.
