We went to see Das Pop yesterday...

And fuck me, that was a mind blowing experience. LGF  got so excited he couldn't stop yelling compliments in between songs. A pretty rare thing for him to do. (thank god)

To every record executive that refused to release this record : go find a new job and leave us kids alone.

Das Pop should be writing the soundtrack to the re-make of Footloose.

The new cuts  (Bent kept calling his tracks 'morceaux' with an English accent for some reason) are like epic 1980's style songs, but in the meantime they sound ultra-new and fresh. They're produced by Soulwax/2ManyDJs by the way.

I'm co-programming a show for national television that's about to screen in a couple of months and I'm so hoping that they can be a part of that (Big L! What do you say?).

This was one of the best live performances I have ever seen. And yeah, that includes Jay-Z (Das Pop is number 2 right now)

@Reinhard : I never thought I could be turned on by a younger version of Rick Rubin playing an electric banjo. I was!

@Bent : loved the tweed vest, but I kept worrying you were going to trip over your shoelaces.
