New Paris expo “Black models: from Géricault to Matisse” looks at the portraiture of Black models from abolition-era France to the early 20th-century avant-garde movement & contemporary art. Focusing on the dialogue between the artist & models, the exhibition explores the representation of Black subjects in works by Géricault, Manet, Cézanne, Matisse & many more. From March 26 - July 21.
