The nine-time Grammy-winning fashion, beauty and music mogul will now be gifting us with a new ‘visual autobiography’, available for shipping starting on October 24 2019. Soon you can flick through a massive, RiRi-blessed tome containing 1,050 photos spread over 504 pages. The book will show many never before seen images ranging from "her Barbados childhood to her worldwide tours, from iconic fashion moments to private time with friends and family.” Rihanna herself noted: “I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years, and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody.” FIVE YEARS. The Fenty Details
The book will be start shipping worldwide on October 24 2019, weighing in at almost 7 kg. Priced at €140, it is up for pre-order now at the dedicated website. Cardi B apparently paid $111k at the Diamond Ball for a signed copy, so that starter price is quite reasonable in comparison! Book porn upcoming: the hardcover is 420 x 320 mm big and features a full-cover photo with debossed title, stamped in matte white foil with a custom hot pink cloth on the spine wrapping around the back cover. In collaboration with artist duo The Haas Brothers, three limited editions are up for grabs: one of them shipping starting October 10, about 2 weeks earlier than the general release. It’s The Fenty x Phaidon, the most accessible limited option including a silver and green chrome custom tabletop titled “This Sh*t Is Heavy” and priced at €165. Then there’s ‘Drippy + The Brain’, a super deluxe, engulfed-in-18-carat-gold bookstand plus book coming in at over €5K (990 pieces only) and available for shipping starting November 10 2019. Finally, and already sold out, is the behemoth marble bookstand titled the ‘Ultra Luxury Supreme’, of which 10 pieces were made.
