There are many kinds of good decisions, but my favourite ones directly open the latch of a door that leads to good memories. Adrianne Lenker’s decision to just go into the desert at sunset and dance freely to film the video for ‘Forwards Beckon Rebound“ is one of those decisions that benefits us all. You can tell they didn’t just create a video, but also a memory they will cherish themselves.
Also: “Show me the pictures that hang in your house / Pictures that hang in your mouth” is one of my favourite lines on the album.
