While I'm writing this, slats of tepid sunrays are slipping through the window while outside puzzled birds are chirping on lukewarm, bare-knuckle branches. Seasons are getting jumbled. It's supposed to be winter in Europe. But not according to the temperatures. Nothing glacial goin' on outside. You can't trust a thermometer these days. When does spring really begin? I'll believe the coming of the flourishing season when Outkast starts its massive intercontinental reunion tour.
Until then, I'll bide my time, not trusting the bird's eye view or the climate, warming myself on Big Boi's 'Mashup Mondays': free weekly installments of glowing Big Boi songs mashed and mixed with the likes of Sade, Blue Oyster Cult and funk disco cult leaders Shalamar.
